linode升级第一波：http://www.linode.im/2243.html，主要升级带宽和流量，带宽5倍速，升级完成的话，带宽是250Mbps，流量10倍，最低配是2TB流量/月。

linode升级第二波：主要是升级CPU，更换CPU型号，同时CPU变8核。

The E5-2670 is at the high end of the power-price-performance ratio.   Each E5-2670 enjoys 20 MB of cache and has 8 cores running at 2.6 Ghz.  We’ve also moved to the latest generation of the enterprise-grade hard disk drives — doubling their cache, increasing their port speed, and decreasing latency and access time.

主要提供E5-2670的CPU，20MB的缓存，8核，2.6Ghz。

至于大家关心的linode是否会升级SSD磁盘，目前linode官方给的答案是，现在SSD磁盘应用还不是很成熟，企业级的应用价格高昂，性价比不是很好，坐等企业级SSD应用普及后，他们不排除用SSD的可能。

• Alert_cpu_threshold must be between 0 and 400.

linode管理后台允许设定的cpu耗费最大值到400%，如果老是cpu过高的童鞋请去linode后台修改下cpu使用最大值，不同同时也检查下程序，看看什么程序这么耗费cpu。

单独买内存，90M内存，5美金/月；
单独买磁盘空间，2G，2美金/月；
单独买流量，100G，10美金/月；
单独买IP，最多能多买一个对立ip，1美金/月。

算算，单独增加内存、磁盘空间、流量、是不如买整个套餐划算的。

linode限制母鸡上放置linode vps的数量，我们也在每台母鸡上设置了某种方案：在最坏的情况下，你和你母鸡上的VPS，均摊资源，当然如果你母鸡上的VPS，如果是闲置状态的时候，你也可以最大限度的使用整个母鸡资源。

We limit the number of Linodes placed on each host machine. We also only place one plan type on each host. In the worst-case scenario, you’re splitting CPU time evenly with your fellow Linoders, but are still able to use the full potential of the host if others are idle.
